Back from my hiatus!
I finally have a moment to sit down and write. Since my last little blurb I have actually gotten married, been on a honeymoon, and moved to a new place. Although I thought it would be an efficient transition, it was a metric sh*tload of things to do in a short amount of time. The wedding and the honeymoon were to happen at the same time regardless, but deciding to work a move into the 10 day period was a bit much. OK, to be honest…it wasn’t really the move, but the packing and lack of preparation that put the squeeze on the old hands of time. Nevertheless, we got moved and are settling in comfortably into our new townhouse.
The wedding went off without a hitch! No one stood up and yelled that we weren’t fit to marry or anything. Both of our families were well represented and everything from the two-tone ’62 Rolls Royce with gangster white walls to the 80′s band that played our reception rounded out the magical evening. We hadn’t planned on the event being as grand as it ended up being, but it was a night I’ll never forget. My wife was truly beautiful in her dress and even dropped it on the dance floor (like it was hot).
I know this is kind of vague, but I felt like writing for a minute and will fill in the rest over the weekend…
Upcoming blogs will include: The Honeymoon, The Move, People Watching, and The Crazy Ass Lady.
Stay gold!

Greetings Earthlings!
I am blogging to let everyone know that I’m still around. I have been extremely busy and as most of you know, blogging can be very time consuming. In real life I’m working on finishing up my degree and that has absolutely sucked the creativity out of my life. I’m working on a huge project and seem to also be writing a weekly 7-8 page paper every Wednesday night. On top of all this I’ve been going through physical therapy and getting back to drumming. I try to get in 8-10 hours each week drumming and getting it all back. I’ve missed playing and will soon have the time to finish working on The Cesspools record and get that out. I also have several short comedy pieces in the works, but once again don’t have the time to complete this project at the moment.
I’ll try and be better about posting more and hopefully the creative bug will bite me soon because I’m really missing out right now. I did however come up with a marketing idea for a Krystal Halloween Haunted Combo Pack- It contains 6 Krystal burgers, 6 oz of fries, and a 6 ounce drink…with the idea that this combo meal will come back to haunt you (sharting, or crapping your pants, etc.)

A Very Brady Tuesday

So I could not resist attending the Q&A session and book signing of Maureen McCormick’s new book Here’s the Story… I don’t know why I bothered thinking about it…I had to go…it shouldn’t have been a question. I went to a local bookstore here in town and purchased the book and went in for the event where there were people anxiously awaiting the real Marcia Brady! I’m pretty sure that I was one of few (if not the only one there) who did not still live in the basement of his parents home. There was a very peculiar bunch there for this. The questions fired away and a confident and sweet Maureen McCormick took control of the Q&A handling every question appropriately and with the charm everyone would expect. Her physical appearance had obviously matured, but she sounded exactly how she did nearly 40 years ago as her most famous character. The audience alone was an event within itself, but the questions were good. I only identified two major potential stalkers in the crowd. It was one of the few star struck moments in my life…and I’m not ashamed to say I’m stoked to have met Marcia Brady.I imagine Mo’s had some pretty surreal moments on this book tour and could likely write a story about that adventure alone if every crowd was similar to the one I was in.
Cheers!
I have another story that ties into this experience I’ll type up soon.
